So in that 4 hours, we met a crazy screaming thai woman, asked and received wrong directions x 2, met tons of generally weird/staring people, lugged our pre-shopping 10kg luggage up and down the overhead bridge, through the crazy crowd and law-less roads and finally arrived at our hotel, safe and sound. We were completely exhausted after the whole drama and forced exercise so dinner = a trip to 7-11 to grab MAMA instant noodles ( europe people, -inserts AWWWW- its THAT mama noodles, yes, the only reasonably priced instant noodles in Europe) & random chips and drinks.

Woke up at 8am, in fact, I didn’t sleep the whole night (too excited? maybe.) but well, I formally crawled out of bed at 8am when my alarm went off. Headed straight to Pratunam Market (5mins from our hotel) and here goes nothing. The loot was too heavy we had to fly back to the hotel to deposit them before flying back to Platinum for lunch + Round 2.
Verdict: Hmm, well in general, I think Pratunam is alot cheaper than Platinum but then again, Platinum got aircon + less packed and cleaner + better quality + (most importantly) got clean and safe-looking food so I guess it really depends on your YUCK-tolerance + taste (somewhat different clothes)

See that nice fedora I’m wearing, I bought it for the boyfriend and I got the floral one Jas is wearing for myself. Ahhhhh, I like the one I’m wearing so muchie, should have gotten another one for myself ): Was super tempted to just keep it for myself, please. But being gracious as I am (ahem), of course I didn’t.

after 3 days around the Pratunam area, Siam Paragon is like civilisation and I think we totally looked like country bumpkins.

6.02pm, 23rd April 2011 – am officially going to abandon my exactly half-completed 30% indv assignment due on 26th April to start studying (no, not even studying, i call it) reading (many of which, for the first time) whatever econs notes i can find from the classes i attended :\ to prepare for my mm, 25th April 9am finals. Omg, I feel so crazily ashamed even as I’m typing this.
I always knew I was last minute, but i just didn’t know I was that last minute! wah, if i still get anything remotely near an A, I think I deserve a mega awesome reward!!!! (hello boyfriend, please look here! rewarddddddddd! hahahah) Okay okay, time to start! bye

So recently, everyone has been asking the same few questions:___

So so so, heres a summarized version of our findings:______
The Idol, the Semi-Idol and the Commoners. –
So guys in the Semi-Idol and Commoner group would feel that female Idols are out of reach (they are just meant to be idolized) However, interestingly, Commoner boyboys won’t mind Semi-Idols (cos there must be something weird abt them thats preventing them from attaining idol-hood! HAHAH ) -

So, there are 3 solutions for the localized female idols : -

(A) Demote yourself (bad move)
(B) Be the sexiest of the Idols and attract your fellow idols
(C) Wait and See (when you move out of this area & meet kick-ass Global Idols, heres your break! ) -

We can relive this dream sooner than expected (woohooooo!) I can buy alot of summer/singapore-ish clothes from Primark Its warm enough to have picnics with my favourite furry friends We will save alot on luggage ( – heavy/bulky winter clothes) which also = more luggage space + $$ for shopping!! (: warm enough to re-visit Edinburgh, my love + Greece, Monaco & Madeira -CONS:
We must book tickets (both long haul and short haul) + accoms + transport + plan intinierary + fly in 3 weeks time. + no more magical christmas & german christmas markets! ): + half the world is going (seriouslyyy at least 30 ppl i know, indicated interest) :\-

PROS:
cold = legitimate reason to stuff myself shamelessly with food forced to buy winter clothes there (cos nothing else to buy + need to feed my shopaholic appetite) which = good reason to plan another holiday cos its sinful and morally wrong to waste the winter clothes! + i get to sing my favourite christmas song (very apt) as we walk hand-in-hand down Oxford Street + magical christmas with you, eiffel & mickey (: & also practical reasons –> more time to plan & save moolah can buy 2pounds Ben&Jerry from Tesco won’t meet half the world there D: -CONS:
have to wait another 8 more months ): might get distracted by the US of A high chance of blizzard & -20 degrees flights might be cancelled ): cannot go to the beach in Greece + cannot sleep on the grass patch in Edinburgh + might be too cold to queue for rides in D’land (which is not necessarily a bad thing cos that just means more time in the D shops!)q
