Travelogue: Shopaholic takes BKK

So in that 4 hours, we met a crazy screaming thai woman, asked and received wrong directions x 2, met tons of generally weird/staring people,  lugged our pre-shopping 10kg luggage up and down the overhead bridge, through the crazy crowd and law-less roads and finally arrived at our hotel, safe and sound. We were completely exhausted after the whole drama and forced exercise so dinner = a trip to 7-11 to grab MAMA instant noodles ( europe people, -inserts AWWWW- its THAT mama noodles, yes, the only reasonably priced instant noodles in Europe) & random chips and drinks.

Woke up at 8am, in fact, I didn’t sleep the whole night (too excited? maybe.) but well, I formally crawled out of bed at 8am when my alarm went off. Headed straight to Pratunam Market (5mins from our hotel) and here goes nothing. The loot was too heavy we had to fly back to the hotel to deposit them before flying back to Platinum for lunch + Round 2.

Verdict: Hmm, well in general, I think Pratunam is alot cheaper than Platinum but then again, Platinum got aircon + less packed and cleaner + better quality + (most importantly) got clean and safe-looking food so I guess it really depends on your YUCK-tolerance + taste (somewhat different clothes)

See that nice fedora I’m wearing, I bought it for the boyfriend and I got the floral one Jas is wearing for myself. Ahhhhh, I like the one I’m wearing so muchie, should have gotten another one for myself ): Was super tempted to just keep it for myself, please. But being gracious as I am (ahem), of course I didn’t.   

love this series of duck photos because little miss short legs can climb ducks better than little miss longer legs.

after 3 days around the Pratunam area, Siam Paragon is like civilisation and I think we totally looked like country bumpkins.
